ABOUT ME

I am a fully qualified and experienced make-up artist and hair stylist with over 15 years experience working in TV, Film, Theatre, fashion, bridal/special occasion and teaching.

I have always from a young age had a fascination in makeup, the way it can enhance someone's natural beauty or alter a person's look completely. So it was always going to be my career path in life.

I have a HND in specialist make-up and hair, alongside my national diploma in media makeup which I studied over 4 years. I have been really lucky as I have had the opportunity to work in all aspects of the industry and I continue to do so.

I have a level 5 teaching qualification and assessors award and I have been a make-up and hair lecturer for the last 13 years teaching in several different colleges including building a makeup department from scratch. I have managed a makeup department as well as teach specialist hair and makeup across all levels from level 1 through to level 5.

My skills consist of bridal, special occasion/event make-up and hair, fashion/photographic, TV/Film, theatre hair and makeup, special effects/casualty makeup, historical hair and make-up as well as festival and face painting.

Alongside my teaching career, over the last 15 years I have continued to grow successfully my freelance bridal hair and makeup business. I have a studio lodge where I offer trials and my makeup and hair services. I am mobile for weddings and for events. I offer beautiful bespoke hairstyles and long-lasting makeup whether its for a bride and her bridal party, special occasion/event or for a prom or makeover or photoshoot. I have a real passion in creating beautiful and flawless looks enhancing natural beauty whether its a natural, glamourous, elegant or classic look.

I use a variety of high quality products/brands such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, benefit and many more.

I love to be apart of your special day and I have no problems getting stuck in with helping to make your day/event run more smoothly and to help keep you chilled and relaxed. Whether that's helping get you into your wedding dress, help with doing up your bodice, securing mother of the brides hat, or helping the photographer on a shoot with equipment during shots.

I really do love my job and as the saying goes ' Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life!'
